Science in Action

So, this week I was telling my friend about how you can blow cornstarch into the air and make it light on fire. She didn't believe me, so I totally tried to get it to work and show her that I really did know my chemistry skills. However, right as I was blowing the cornstarch, a huge gust of wind took the pile and blew it onto the grass. The lighter went and caught the WHOLE pile on fire. It was really scary, but at the same time, incredibly awesome. Science is so cool!

  1. You are so weird. And probably lucky to have eyebrows. I would like to see your scientific pyro skills in action however. Perhaps involving mattresses in the canyon with a little bit of lighter fluid and some corn starch powder?
