Teaching

I went and pretended to teach earlier this week. Man am I terrible! I was getting really flustered by all of the random questions that were being asked by the students and I realized that I have no classroom management skills. Oh well, those will come. The important thing is that I felt like I was keeping my students entertained. I came up with a project that will hopefully keep the process of DNA replication sharp in their mind. They were having a hard time keeping up with everything I was teaching, but then we did this crazy little hands on project/skit thing where everybody had to pick their favorite protein, and then go and act out how it was all occurring. It was really funny to watch and the kids were having a good time and hopefully learning a lot.
